NORMAL OPENING HOURS ARE EVERY DAY 8AM TO DUSK, BUT CLOSED MONDAYS (except some bank holidays).

 

Total autumn re-stock today (12 September 2024) with large amount of good sized Rainbows and Browns.

 

It has been reported to us that our telephone number has been spoofed and scammers are using our telephone number for what purpose we are currently unsure.  Just so everyone knows, we do not sell products online, nor do we take credit card payments over the phone for any reason.  Payment is only taken in person at the fishery - so don't be fooled by these scammers.

Norton Fishery is a trout farm and fly-fishery with a spring fed five-acre lake (Est.1995).  The quiet and secluded fishery in Essex is set in scenic open pastoral countryside with grass banks and 22 casting platforms.  The lake is is kept well stocked with Blues, Browns and Rainbows of various sizes from 2lb upwards and has depths varying from 3.5 - 5.5 meters with deeper ruts throughout down to 8 meters. 

We are approx. 20 miles from the centre of London, (jct. 26 on the M25 / jct. 5 on M11), 3 miles from Theydon Bois, 4½ miles from Epping Town, and 2½ miles from Abridge. Directions.   There is an on site tackle shop,  inside toilet / rest room and secure parking for 25+ vehicles.  Various fishing tickets and books are available with catch and release allowed on all tickets after your bag limit has been reached. Savings can be made on ticket prices if you purchase books of tickets.  Although we are a strictly 'Members only' fishery, we can offer 'Guest Tickets' for members wishing to bring a guest for an extra £10 on the ticket price. click for ticket prices/rates.
